Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation of the charter by the Client/Company, for any reason/weather condition, the following cancellation policy will apply depending on the time-interval between the booking confirmation and the cancellation date:

In case of cancellation by the client the deposit fee is not refundable, if booking is cancelled 1-10 days prior to boat embarkation. However, the client reserves the right to reschedule, only once, the same boat trip – experience on a future date, depending on the availability of the vessels and after consultation with the company.

In case of cancellation by the company part depending the weather conditions, have to notifying the client min:12 hours before the client reservation and proposal an alternative day, if the solution is not acceptable by the Client the deposit fee is not refundable
The company reserves the right to change or modify the proposed route depending on weather conditions.

Rent Terms & Conditions

1. No license is required for handling a motor boat under 30hp.
2. Prior to renting, a control of the boat’s condition is made by the customer and is delivered only if boat condition is satisfactory for the customer.
3. The boat is delivered to the customer full of fuel. Fuel consumption is charged extra and is paid by the customer upon return at the company’s premises.
4. The vessel is insured for bodily injury and property damage resulting from a collision at sea with third parties.
5. The Zante Rent Boats shall not be liable for loss or damage of property of the client during the rental
6. The customer agrees and accepts:
7. To deliver the vessel at Zante Rent Boats, boats in the state that was received. The customer will be liable for any damage caused to the vessel by misuse or neglect.
8. To deliver the boat before sunset. Early return of the vessel does not entitle the customer a refund claim.
9. Do not allow any of the persons on board during the hiring to handle the boat.
10. To commit the boat at 18:00. For every next hour after 18:00 there is a penalty of 50 euros per hour.

The following services can also be provided if desired and agreed:
1. Presence of skilled skipper, in case the customer is not qualified for driving a speedboat (a relevant driving license is required by the Greek legislation) throughout the duration of his vacation.

In case of damage which will have to be canceled the next day rental, the lessee will be charged the cost of the next day rental and the damage.

The LESSEE is required to keep at all the time a safe distance from the cost line and this is 50 meters at all time, in some case the distance is change to 150 meters (the 50 meters is from Agios Nikolas to shipwreck and back until Xigia bay, 150 meters is from Xigia bay to Alikes).
The maximum distance you are allowed to go is from Agios Nikolas to Shipwreck and back to Agios Nikolaos and until to Alikes. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO APPROCHE THE COST LINE AT ANY CASE (exp of damage case on the main engine). YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO APPROCHE THE BEACH WITH THE BOAT OR TO GO INSIDE OF ANY CAVE in case of damage of mishan- ding the boat, the cost burdens the Lessee. The Lessee have the responsibility of the boat at the rental period, when is out of the boat needs to keep visual contact with the boat at all time.
The max. speed-limit for the rented motor boat is 5 Rpm.
Abusing the above rules, that can be proved from the picture or our gps locators the penalty is 500euros except damages costs. Abusing this rules will lead to a fine from Hellenic Coast Guard and is your responsibility.
Abusing the restricted areas will lead to a fine from Hellenic Coast Guard and is your responsibility. Cost of eventually necessary picking up, from your side (i.e. running out of petrol, abusing the operation-area, damage)are your responsibility, for any assist you may need from us with another boat the cost is 100 euros
Our boats are 3rd party insurance.

The customer must provide credit card for security and the commitment of deposit/payment in amount of 1500 euros which it will return at the end of the rental..
